I have been into birding since the early 80's,when I was avidly twitching everything possible.I left the birding scene in the early 90's,only really going birding when I was abroad on holidays.Then after a telephone call from an old friend to say that there were Waxwings in Cardiff in 2004 the bug bit me again and I have not looked back.I bought my first DSLR in 2008.

In the Vale of Glamorgan.
Wader and myself decided that the hide I bought last year was in need of an airing.Fortunately steve is friends with a local land owner who kindly allowed us to set it up on his land.
