I have been into birding since the early 80's,when I was avidly twitching everything possible.I left the birding scene in the early 90's,only really going birding when I was abroad on holidays.Then after a telephone call from an old friend to say that there were Waxwings in Cardiff in 2004 the bug bit me again and I have not looked back.I bought my first DSLR in 2008.

Lapland bunting.
One of the perks of being self employed is that when 'the Wader' rings to ask if you fancy a couple of hours with a Lapland bunting at Sker is you don' t have to throw a sicky to get down there.
